Thanks a lot. The problem might be the expensive cost. That’s maybe the reason why they always launch new devices missing something or weak in some specs. I would pay for it a maximum $ 1,000. Any way I believe and expect HTC will launch the HTC Touch HD Pro that should be even better than the Touch Pro 2. Let’s see it.

LOL! will do that if we become smart!

Everything on that phone would be perfect…. heck, might as well bumb up the RAM to 768 or 1gb… but seriously… 12mp camera on a cellphone? without a proper flash it could still be useless in alot of situations..
Either way… retail all your specs in the phone and slap a sticker for under $800 and I would get one…

You just forgot to mention the target price!
Since we’re dreaming here, I would tag it to 300USD – We don’t wan’t to keep this precious phone exclusive, right?
Comment by Homer — August 14, 2009 @ 5:12 pm
Qualcomm GPS is rubbish, always displays a lag in software like tom tom.
You need to use a Sirf chipset. best on the market. even the cheep Acer M900 has this, and it works like a dream with tomtom.

The Touch Pro 3 spec is on PDADB.net. It is not as the above Dream PDA but getting better. I don’t understand why they don’t launch a really powerful device to differentiate them self from competitors. I would pay USD 1,200 for having it.
Also the Touch Pro 3 (Leo) specs on PDADB doesn’t have Hardware Key board. So I believe it is most likely to be a Diamond 3 than a Touch Pro 3.
Anyway see the link:

I would increase the RAM to 1gb instead of 512mb, add a uHDMI(HDCP), a uUSB interface with a STD Audio jack and STD Bluetooth. Map Applications should NOT be the EEPROM area but a Flash (Drive aka RAM) in a system area to Upgrade.

Make the Screen Capacitive or LED for Longevity

Why doesn’t HTC build a device like this?
Well, there’s always those little things, you know, like the laws of physics…
Comment by Me — October 8, 2009 @ 2:11 pm
Hopefully to get a similar phone as the one above.!

How do you intend on outputing 1080P with a device whose resolution is 480×864?
12MP? WHY? 4-5 would be plenty.
You also want all of that extra hardware like a 2x optical zoom to fit into the same volume as the TP2? How? With liquid lenses?
Comment by Nate — January 20, 2010 @ 9:58 pm
Output doesn’t mean device resolution. Today I have a Sony Vaio with 1440×900 and HDMI + Blue-ray and I can plug in my FullHD TV and watch 1080p videos.

Eh…where’s the “Keyboard” at on this Htc Touch Pro3 for Sprint? A whole lot of your customers are tick off, if there’s no “Keyboard” added in this design, for shame, for shame! Everybody was looking forward on the newest model coming up, now, if it’s true, there’s no “Keyboard” then a whole lot of us, won’t be purchasing the Htc Touch Pro3 version, and we will have to purchase Htc Touch Pro2 with the amazing keyboard! That video show Htc Touch Pro3 and Htc EVO 4G, the looks actually the same, no keyboard, just touch screen keyboard, now that’s boredom, whoever or what designer ya’ll had, he or she had goof up on this Htc Touch Pro3, they need to revamp another version with an Htc Touch Pro3 with a “Keyboard” on it fast, have two version output with and without a “Keyboard” so people of the world can have variety of which way they want to purchase!!! If not, I will purchase Sprint HTC Touch Pro2 with a slide “Keyboard” Amen
